Thank You!

With the last goodbyes of DanceMonth in the Schools, there are so many talented and generous people who joyfully helped make this 14th annual celebration happen. At the top of the list are designer Fritz Klaetke (Visual Dialogue) for his always fabulous poster and invitation, and the Cambridge Arts Council, Cambridge School Department, Mayor's Office and Massachusetts Cultural Council for their support.

Forest City Enterprises sponsored our Tuesdays@Noon concert series, deliciously catered by Whole Foods, The Asgard Irish Pub & Restaurant, Qdoba, Petsi Pies, and (welcome aboard) The Harvest Café. Thank you all so much; everyone raved about the food.

A second tattoo and hugs to Senator Jarrett Barrios, co-host magnificate at the Kickoff party. Right up there with dancing and raffle prizes, we are deeply grateful for the delicious food from our community's most excellent restaurants: The Middle East; Toscanini's; Picante Mexican Grill; 1369 Coffee House; HiFi Pizza; Mary Chung; Shalimar; Carberry's Bakery. And for every event held at The Dance Complex, fresh flowers from Central Square Florist.

We are deeply indebted to so many other DanceMonth allies - Lumen Eclipse, Classic Copy and Printing, Pearl Arts& Crafts, CCTV, Family Chiropractic, the Celebrity Series, Cheapo Music, Teddy's Shoes, Chez Henri, and Sports Club/LA.

The humans working above and beyond and more included visual artist Charles Daniels, Terri Viveiros, Judith Contrucci, the staff at The Complex - Jayne Murphy, Danny Swain, Darya Pinton, Avi Asuleen, and side-kick extraordinaire Marianne Harkless - The Works' Annette Rodibaugh, Erica Sigal, and the Board of Directors of the Dance Complex.

And if you slept through the entire month of May, you can go to www.dancemonth.com, thanks to Michael Harris, and see what's in store for you this year.

To all the dancers who dance, students who study, and audiences that appreciate, thank you for being part of DanceMonth - and thank you, Cambridge, for being Cambridge.
